Brunell went to coaching after his playing career, as he became assistant coach at Providence School in Jacksonville before eventually getting the head coaching and program director jobs at Episcopal School of Jacksonville. Additionally, several of Coach Brunells Episcopal players over the years continued on to play at the collegiate level at top programs.
